On long components, workholding, deflection, vibration and thermal movement may matter more than nominal diameter. For new shafts, rollers, piston rods and tubular parts, rough turning, stress relief, finishing, grinding and runout inspection are planned as one sequence.

✓New shafts, rollers, piston rods, tubular shafts and large couplings
✓Planned rough/finish setups and stress-relief allowances where required
✓Controlled runout, concentricity, diameters and bearing seats
Technical acceptance and order inputs
Part weight, steady-rest support, gripping length, stock allowance and inspection method are approved alongside the machine envelope.
✓Share the PDF drawing, STEP/STP, quantity and operating conditions.
✓Review length/diameter ratio, blank, support points and critical runout.
✓Execute rough and finish setups, with intermediate stress relief where required.
✓Verify diameters, bearing seats, runout, concentricity and overall length.

Project control
Clear technical responsibility for new component manufacturing
—The scope starts with manufacturing a new component from raw material or a semi-finished blank to an approved drawing.
—Part weight, steady-rest support, gripping length, stock allowance and inspection method are approved alongside the machine envelope.
—Drawing revision, process sequence and acceptance records are tracked through the order.
—Manufacturing, quality documentation and export delivery are managed as one CNC-Turkey project.

From drawing review to export shipment
01
Share the PDF drawing, STEP/STP, quantity and operating conditions.
02
Review length/diameter ratio, blank, support points and critical runout.
03
Execute rough and finish setups, with intermediate stress relief where required.
04
Verify diameters, bearing seats, runout, concentricity and overall length.
05
Complete delivery with approved documentation and protective packing.
No; it is an approximate capacity envelope. Weight, gripping diameter, overhang, tailstock/steady-rest access and tool path are confirmed from the drawing.
How is runout managed on a long shaft?
Datum centres, setup sequence, intermediate support, rough/finish allowance and inspection stations are planned to the drawing's runout requirement.
Can grinding follow turning?
Yes. With final diameter, hardness, grinding allowance, roughness and runout defined, cylindrical grinding can be reviewed up to approx. Ø600 × 4000 mm.
Which starting forms are suitable?
Bar, tube, forging or pre-machined blank can be reviewed. Material certificate, straightness and stock allowance are checked before quotation.
Can repeat production of long shafts be planned?
Yes. A batch or annual-order route can be established once the approved revision, starting form, workholding plan, intermediate checks and final inspection method are fixed.
