How it works

The same engine we use in production

Enter the part shape, dimensions, material and quantity; the engine calculates raw material weight, machining time and the cost breakdown using the same pricing logic as CNCmind in production.

Tolerance, complexity and quantity affect price and time exactly as they do in real quotation preparation. You can calculate with reference pricing for 304/316 stainless, S235/1.7225 steel, 6061/7075 aluminium, brass, POM and PTFE.

In demo mode, company selection, adding to a quote, file upload and saving are disabled — only calculation is available.

To turn this calculation into a binding quote, send your drawing; our engineering team reviews manufacturability and technical requirements.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the CNC price calculator

Is this a real calculation engine?

Yes. The tool that opens full screen is the actual part-price calculation module from our production planning software, CNCmind — not a separate, simplified copy.

Why do I see a single price, not a range?

Because the real engine is running, the figure shown is not an estimate range but the direct result calculated from the parameters you enter. The final quote is still confirmed after a technical drawing review.

Do I need to register or give an email to calculate?

No. This free demo version needs no registration or email; you can only calculate. Company details, part name, drawing upload and saved persistent price lists are licensed-version features.

How do I get a firm quote?

To turn this calculation into a firm quote, send your technical drawing; our team responds within 2 business days.

Which materials can I calculate a price for?

You can calculate instantly with reference pricing for a wide range of materials, including 304/316 stainless steel, structural and alloy steels like S235/1.7225, 6061/7075 aluminium, brass, POM and PTFE.

Which CNC machines are included in the calculation?

You can select from real machine types and hourly rates in our machine park, including Nexus, V740, Integrex 400SY, Quickturn 200, Mynx 540 and Hessap DV80.

Does the calculation include heat treatment and coating cost?

Yes. You can add heat treatments like hardening and nitriding, and surface finishes like black oxide, zinc and nickel plating, at reference prices to the total cost.

Are my inputs saved anywhere?

No. In this demo mode nothing is written to a database; every calculation is instant and one-off. Company, quote and file records are available in the licensed version.

Can I use this calculator for my own company?

This tool is a module of our production planning software, CNCmind. To use it without limits with your own company, material and machine data, you can learn more about CNCmind.
