How to reduce unit cost in series production
The most important factors affecting unit cost when transitioning to series production are:
- ✓Quantity increase: fixed setup cost spread over more parts — direct per-unit reduction
- ✓Tolerance review: cost-saving proposals are evaluated against part function and assembly requirements. Tolerances are changed only with written approval from the customer or design authority and an updated drawing revision; a general tolerance class is not substituted automatically.
- ✓Material optimisation: avoid unnecessarily high-alloy or exotic materials
- ✓Series approval: after prototype approval, request a renewed quotation and revised price for series
Serial CNC production from Turkey — what to expect
Production lead time is defined in the quotation from the approved drawing, material availability, quantity, operations, capacity and first-article approval. Transit time is assessed separately and depends on the destination, transport method, route and customs procedures. CNC-Turkey confirms the production and delivery plan with you before order placement; no fixed number of weeks or days applies to every project.
In long-term supply relationships, revision management is critical. With every revision change, it is recommended to update the drawing, material and inspection requirements and confirm with the supplier.

Which files can I send for a quotation?
You can send PDF drawings, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, DXF, DWG and ZIP files, together with quantity, material, critical tolerances and delivery country.
Can material certificates be supplied?
EN 10204 3.1 material certificates can be supplied when requested and agreed during quotation. Source, form, dimensions and purchase conditions affect availability.
What if CMM inspection or a detailed dimensional report is required?
Dimensional inspection uses suitable conventional measuring equipment. Where CMM inspection, detailed dimensional reports or third-party verification are required, these services can be coordinated through a qualified measurement network.
How quickly will I get a first response?

Which Incoterms do you support?
EXW, FCA Istanbul, DAP and CIF/CFR (sea freight) are supported; the exact Incoterm is agreed during quotation.
