Typical positions and why they wear

Pins and bushings work at bucket, boom, arm or stick, linkage and cylinder-eye joints. Poor lubrication, contamination and load cycles wear the bushing. If it is not replaced in time, the bore wears and joint play and impact increase.

  • ✓Bucket, boom and arm/stick joints
  • ✓Linkage and cylinder-eye pins
  • ✓Worn bores, increasing play and lost lubrication

What to send for a quote

A drawing is the best starting point. If no drawing is available, send the main dimensions and photographs of the worn sample.

  • ✓Drawing or diameter, length, fit and connection dimensions
  • ✓Material and hardness requirement
  • ✓Quantity and destination country
  • ✓Photos of the worn sample, when available

Inspection and export supply

An inspection report with measured dimensions and a material certificate can be supplied for each batch. These component families have already been shipped to customers in Europe, Australia and the USA.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What pin sizes can you manufacture?

Pins Ø20–200 mm and 50–4000 mm long, with matching bushings, can be made to drawing.

Which steels and heat treatments are available?

8620 and 16MnCr5 suit case hardening. 4140 (42CrMo4), 4340 and similar steels can be reviewed for induction or through hardening. 34CrNiMo6 and other steels available in Türkiye are also reviewed against the drawing.

Can you machine lubrication and retention features?

Yes. Grease grooves, lubrication holes, cross holes for retaining bolts, threads and flats can be machined to drawing.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Any quantity can be reviewed, but batches of about 10 pieces or more generally make the most sense because of setup and process steps.

What if the lug bore is already worn?

If measured wear and joint geometry are suitable, an expanding pivot pin can be an alternative. The bore measurements must be reviewed.
