Part and process scope

Prismatic bodies, fixtures, brackets, plates and complex milled components can be reviewed together with the drilling, thread, pocket and contour operations they require.

Planning from the drawing

Surface finish, geometric tolerances, post-heat-treatment machining and coating allowances are evaluated against the drawing. Grinding can be added to the production route where required.

Typical CNC milled component types

CNC milling is suitable for planar and prismatic geometries, free-form contours, hole patterns and complex fixture components. The following component types are commonly produced by CNC milling:

  • Machine bodies and housings — with precision mating surfaces and bolt-hole patterns
  • Brackets and structural carriers — high-strength steel or aluminium with lightening pockets
  • Fixture plates and setup components — precision location holes, surface flatness
  • Covers and plates with functional surfaces — seal-free sealing faces, threaded connections

Geometric tolerances in CNC milling

In milled parts, flatness, perpendicularity, parallelism and positional tolerances (GD&T) are evaluated against the drawing. Workholding method, part rigidity and material directly affect achievable geometric tolerances.

Surfaces with critical geometric tolerances should be highlighted at the quotation stage; surface grinding or post-hardening machining can be added to the production route where required.

Advantages of sourcing CNC milled parts from Turkey

Aluminium and steel milled parts enter Europe with zero tariff under the EU Customs Union. For prototype and low-volume orders, road freight to Europe in 3–6 days is possible; for urgent shipments, air freight in 3–5 days.

Quality documentation requirements for milled parts — EN 10204 3.1 material certificate, dimensional report, surface hardness certificate — are decided at the quotation stage. The same production process is carried through from prototype to series.

Manufacturing

What we coordinate for your drawing

  • CNC turning, milling and multi-task machining for suitable geometries
  • Prototype, low-volume, medium-series and repeat production
  • Coordination of material, heat treatment, grinding, coating and inspection services
  • Drawing-based review of tolerances, surface requirements and documentation

Sourcing

Clear accountability, not a workshop search

  • One team for international sales, technical communication, quality documentation and export
  • Manufacturing carried out through an established machining infrastructure in Istanbul
  • A route selected between group capability and a qualified supplier network for the part
  • Traceable project coordination from quotation through packing and shipment

FAQ

Questions international buyers ask

Which files can I send for a quotation?

You can send PDF drawings, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, DXF, DWG and ZIP files, together with quantity, material, critical tolerances and delivery country.

Can material certificates be supplied?

EN 10204 3.1 material certificates can be supplied when requested and agreed during quotation. Source, form, dimensions and purchase conditions affect availability.

What if CMM inspection or a detailed dimensional report is required?

Dimensional inspection uses suitable conventional measuring equipment. Where CMM inspection, detailed dimensional reports or third-party verification are required, these services can be coordinated through a qualified measurement network.

How quickly will I get a first response?

We typically send the first technical response to your enquiry within 2 business days.

Which Incoterms do you support?

EXW, FCA Istanbul, DAP and CIF/CFR (sea freight) are supported; the exact Incoterm is agreed during quotation.
